Hi, I wonder is it possible to get the "$c" or Count on in the index page? I want to show on the front page how many visitors etc. and is it possible to have statistics from each month?
Noupe ;)

Hey Nate, i think they dont count cause they are .html files. Thats the reason the only page that counts is the .php one =D theres a way to make the .html to count, but i dont remenber where i red it xD wait fot the EvGenius master to come =D

I am having trouble with the counter. I installed it and I followed the instructions, but it does not count, the only page it seems to count on is if you go to www.yourdomain.com/counter/counter.php that is the only time it counts for me.
I have added the line to my .htaccess file and I added the line to the pages I wanted counted.
Any help would be great.
As Solinho have said above, you're probably using a .html files and they do not parse the PHP codes properly. Try to put a counter line on a .php file and if it works fine, then there's something wrong with .htaccess or your server config.

hi there again :) i read your comments, and thank you for answering me. i thought you could maybe answer me to my email, for me not to use too much space here in the guestbook :) cause i have some questions about the .htaccess thing =D
It will be better to discuss all the questions here rather than by email. Because other people can have the same questions, so they might find the answers here.

hi again =D
do you think you can put the totals? the daily totals of one page, the daily totals of all pages, the monthly totals of one or all pages, the overall totals of one or all pages. That would be VERY usefull, or else ill be counting them on my calculator =D
stay cool

I simply never needed the total stats per domain. The main concept of this counter is to get a detailed stats per page and to get it as fast as possible. But the "totals" is also in my "to do" list ;)

sorry for posting so many times, but as im going to explore, i find some more error =D
if i accec to the admin, for ex www.xxx.com/counter/admin.php he asks for password, but if i writte a page like www.xxx.com/counter?month=Jan&day=11&year=2007 he doesnt ask me for password. thats bad man =D :P
That's not an error ;) Personally i don't see any sense of hiding the stats, so you can make protected only admin.php . If you want to protect the whole counter, you may either install it in a folder like "myhiddencounter" (so nobody will find it) or you can manually remove from .htaccess lines: "<files admin.php>" and "</files>". But in this case, when next time you will edit the "admin section access" those lines will return, so you'll need to remove them again.
